Ticket Collection

Sportsworld has announced details of our ticket collection arrangements for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and will have ticket centres open in both Beijing itself and Hong Kong. Existing clients who have booked Sportsworld hotels during the Games have already received full details and do not need to submit the ticket collection date. Those clients who are taking travel packages will receive their event tickets on arrival at their Sportsworld hotel. Non tour clients who have an Equestrian session as their first event will collect all event tickets in Hong Kong, whilst all other clients will pick up tickets in Beijing. The Ticket Availability Report has been updated and is available to download from the ‘Latest Ticket Availability’ section. Due to the rapidly diminishing availability of tickets, we will not be making any further formal ticket requests to BOCOG other than for sessions in Handball and Hockey in which teams from the countries that we represent will be participating, once the draws are made next month.
Relatives of Competitors: We are still able to accept ticket requests from relatives of competitors for all sessions in the sports your relatives are competing in. Please make sure that you advise us of who you are looking to support when making your ticket request online.

Further to completing the latest ticket allocation we have now updated the Ticket Availability Report. This can be access by clicking on the ‘Latest Ticket Availability’ section on this website. The Ticket Availability Report shows the most up-to-date picture of all Beijing 2008 event sessions, and is sorted both by sport and date, in order to assist you in deciding which tickets you would like to request.
December 2007 Ticket Allocation

We have now received some information from the Beijing Organising Committee (BOCOG) that will allow us to start our allocation process on Monday 17th December. Any new Booking Forms (for new clients) or Ticket Amendment Forms (for existing clients) must be sent to Sportsworld by 5pm on Friday 14th December. Alternatively any new ticket requests made via the website by midnight on Sunday 16th December will also be included in this allocation process.
Ticket Availability

Sportsworld is currently producing a Ticket Availability Report, this will indicate where:
• All tickets for a specific sport, or individual sessions are “Sold Out”, preventing you from requesting tickets that we already know we cannot confirm.
• Sportsworld has availability of tickets. We will provide details of these sessions where we still have availability and an indication of what level of tickets we still hold. This should assist you in selecting sessions where you will know there is a reasonable chance of securing.
• Sportsworld does not have tickets remaining, but the Beijing Organising Committee (BOCOG) have informed us that they have availability. If you request these sessions we will apply to BOCOG for them on your behalf and hope to have them confirmed, subject to availability.
Availability is constantly changing but we hope the Ticket Availability Report will provide you with as much information as possible before making your ticket request.
We have recently received the most up to date session changes from BOCOG and will publish these details, as well as a link to the Ticket Availability Report on this website on Wednesday, 9th October.
